THANK YOU, WORLD

Book Review: THANK YOU, WORLD
By Alice B. McGinty and illustrated by Wendy Anderson Halperin

Just because it isn't Thanksgiving doesn't mean we can't be thankful. Spring is such an exciting time of year: stems of mystery flowers are sprouting, we can finally leave our heavy coats at home and get outside to play, run, walk, etc!

Even though our twins are only 15 months, I often look for books with new vocabulary and a nice message. I can use these same books with my students. They can sit for longer, enjoy the illustrations, acquire and practice new vocabulary and concepts after reading the book just once.

The beautiful language describes a different thankful message on each page. Together the author and illustrator connect being thankful with real life experiences through simple language and drawings from life around the globe.

Teach your Little Busy Bee to be Thankful for the WORLD here.
